Hi,
recently I got one Samsung i7500 Phone and I can't find the update option. My firmware is 1.5.
Another strange thing is that it haven't a voice search widget (text search only).
These features are not native in Android SO?
Thanks.

You need to use NPS to update the phone, or use Odin (unoffical method to update). If you are going to use NPS, make sure to download the latest version from the samsung mobile site. The one that comes with the phone doesnt work properly for updating.
Voice search is native in 1.6, you need to download google voice search from market.

I found NPS software, but i can't download it because Samsung i7500 model does not appear in the list to do download it.
Where download it ?
Thanks

Putz, this software does not support Win7 x64 :(
The NPC install, but the problem is with drivers.
Where i find these drivers ?

Enable USB debugging on the phone (settings -> applications -> development -> usb debugging)
Then plug the phone into the computer. If it asks for drivers point it to C:\Program Files\Samsung\Samsung New PC Studio\USB Drivers
There will be one driver that doesnt install (thats the adb driver for debugging, ignore it).
I'm not sure if the new NPS will work on windows 7, but I did use the original NPS on win7 to update my galaxy from FF to G8 firmware about 3 months ago.
