Hey guys,
I just got my mytouch today, so i'm new to basically everything, as well as these forums.
My concern is:
Today i downloaded like 3 or 4 apps (clock, taskiller, wheres my droid?, backgrounds, barcode scanner, and a couple others probably) just from the android market.
After downloading them i logged into AIM, checked who was on and signed off (this was at about 12:00 - 12:30pm today). I was at school most the day and didnt get home till about 7pm.
When i got home, i logged into AIM on my computer, and immediately was told that i had signed in from 2 locations. I assumed it was from my phone. Then i noticed i was IMing everyone on my list with a link to a virus (that i assume took over their information).
I'm pretty computer savvy and don't download stupid crap or go to stupid websites. I'm just curious if this problem could have come from one of the apps i downloaded on the phone? or if its a computer virus some where.
I'm using a virus scanner right now, and hopefully its something on the computer and not the phone.
I just thought it was pretty coincidental that the first time i log on aim through a phone, i get some weird hack / virus on my AIM that has never happened before in 5 or 6 years ive been using AIM.
Anyone have any insight on this?
