Help with Rooting

So i have tried to follow several tutorials to root my g1 and i have failed in every single attempt :(.....So im wondering if one of our more experienced members can root, apply apps 2 sd, and the fastest most reliable version of hero for me. I can ship the phone to you and back, ill pay as well. So if any one can help it would be awesome. :D

Which part of the rooting process are you having trouble with? Which tutorial are you following?

Rooting is actually pretty easy if you follow the right tutorials.

i went through theunlockr site, and when i try to load the new slp it aborts the whole process, thats why id rather send it to some one who knows what they are doing so i dont mess up the phone

I'm stuck with this also. I cannot download any of the links provided from many different sites. But my question is, whats the difference between RC29 and RC33? Which is better?

This guide has been used alot here. You will need to do a radio update and if your going to run Cyan roms your spl will be fine.

So this guide will work for a 1.6 non rooted phone too? ^^^
