Anyone heard anything substantial yet? Seems to beat the pants off of the MyTouch and the Cliq.

not sure why you say that, besides the 5 mega pixel cam. But its coming to t-mobile as the behold 2.
Besides the internal memory, the Behold II for all intensive purposes is the NAM version of the Galaxy. The Behold will feature an Android version of Touch Wiz however. I'm personally dying to see what that's going to look like.

I'm not sure if the internal memory figures are acurate either. Will be interesting to see

So I just went "off contract" at TMo with their new Dark pricing, so I am paying full price for my phone. Why should I spend the money for the Behold 2 at TMo instead of getting the real Galaxy on ebay for the same money?

Get a Behold 2?
Pros:
- Has 320Mb RAM, yeah more than the hero! It has 120 ro 140mb free after everything is loaded. Thats the most i've seen on any android phone.
Cons:
- Is security locked - need an exploit to root it (one exists now)
- Has partition protection, so if you modify the system partition it overwrites it again on boot - need a new bootloader to use custom roms or mods (not possible now, so root isnt persistant, and custom roms are a no go)
- Doesnt have 8gb internal storage
- Cube/touchwiz is fugly, no seriously its really ugly (only way to get rid of it is to install something like openhome. Thats due to the partition protection problems)
