Shouldn't have to since this is a complete rom with Google apps. I would HIGHLY recommend wiping though. Maybe even reformatting the ext partition if you have one and wiping dalvik cache. This is updating from Android 1.5-1.6.

Depends on what your running now. If your on 4.1.999 or higher, just wipe and flash. Anything lower then 4.1.999 and you have to follow Cyanogens instructions first.

I had 4.2.1 but then wiped and went to a HERO rom. So I'm guessing I have to do the Cyan steps all over again?

Since your on a Hero rom, i think it would be better to wipe and follow Cyanogens steps. Hero runs comepletly different then Cyanogens roms.

I'm having trouble booting up. Got the bootloader screen and then when it goes to load setup, I'm getting a backlit blank screen. No button responce either. Did a battery pull and tried again only to get the same result.

Sorry if this is a "stupid" question...

but if this theme is built on top of the Cyanogen mod, then why is there the need to do an entire ROM? Why can't we just have an update over CMUpdater? :confused:

I am not familiar with this tool, but it seems like this would be the perfect opportunity to use it.

It's got the basic Cyan 4.2.1 but they have added alot of extras, and Cyan didn't do it so it won't be there.

Sweet. However, I really like the black notification bar/screen from the last version. Using Root explorer, what files can I take from your old theme to replace the drop down notification bar from white to the original black?

how about putting some color into the robot and the word android(same color as the android , probably green) . also make larger and center the evolve under android community , like below . one more thing , have the robot and the evolve flash together :)

com.google.android.partnersetup force closed imediatly on startup. Calendar and Market crash imediatly without a force close or wait. GTalk tries to connect but just hangs on the signing in screen.

As for the looks, it looks great. The speed is still quick also. Just need to figure out why most of the google apps crash without any warning.

That's weird; I haven't had any problems at all! :) It might be on your end guys? Maybe a wipe, but I'm not sure. My gmail is working 100% fine as far as I know.

I know your pain. I could have dealt with not having calendar and I could have used SlideME for the market, but Gmail, GTalk ect have to be working.

Other then that, excelent work! The rom looks amazing and it's getting better. This release matched my current colors and theme perfectly, lol. Just gotta get the bugs shaken out.

Haha..let me tell you what I did...I had a Hero ROM, then I decided to go back to Cyanogen *NOTE I'm tired and lazy to use proper grammar so plz excuse the sloppyness im close to passing out lol
be4 flashin 4.999...wiped...repaired ext..wiped..wiped ext..repaired ext...flashed 4.999..restored apks using backup for root..flashed 4.9999...used plastic theme...flashed 4.2.1...flashed 4.2.1 version of this theme yesterday..flashed latest version today..no wipes at all

That looks real nice, but can you theme the Lock screen again, and could you make the drop down notification bar transparent black please? Also, I notices that in one the versions of this theme, you have the select button to be a blueish color, please change that to a different shade as that one didn't look to nice. Drop down will be black and transparent.
Not sure what select button you're referring to but once I do it will be changed.

I mean the blue scroll bar, and also when select items when clicking them they turn blue rather than yellow..also 4.2.2 is out. If you could get the new version out with latest rom support today or tomorrow that would be freaking awesome hahaha!

Note: The only reason I'm giving criticism is because you want it. I have no intent to be disrespectful.

On the version B, the new one, I'm LOVING the black launcher icon but the white little arrow inside of it needs to be worked on it's a little rough, know what I mean? In the next theme, could you change the dialer...the default is disgusting IMO..maybe make it black and white, and squares, rather than circles. Also, the default yellow when u press down on an icon, could you make it white? I'm talking about the B version btw...Thanks for taking these in to consideration!

Also, a bug, which is rather annoying, when you scroll using the scroller on the contacts, the a-z sorting doesn't work, like I'll scroll down, but it doesn't change from letter b, etc, know what I mean?

Nice work as usual guys. I get an f/c at google partner setup. Can that be deleted or is it something we need? One other thing the app drawer shows all my apps, but when I go to the market to update my apps it says I have no downloads. Also what is the red oval at the top with a 10 and a 0?
