Honestly this damn thing is driving me crazy. I am on my third one.
First one the wiring came loose. I'm not rough with it - use it only in the car and for walking.
Second had crackling noise - after the warranty.
I emailed Seidio to complain and they did the right thing - sent me a new one free of charge. I'm happy with their customer service.
Now my third one worked okay for a few weeks but now when I try to use it, the default music player goes nuts - like I'm hitting the button to start/stop music constantly. It plays a song for a second, starts another song for a second, etc etc. It's crazy! I use the one that came with the phone and it works just fine.
Any thoughts?
I'm going to try my bluetooth again but last time I used it (months ago) it had dropout issues, which I know was a known problem at the time. Unsure if it was resolved.
It's frustrating. Maybe I should just get the generic adapter w/o mic? I don't care about not being able to take calls when the adapter is plugged in.
