Okay so I have Cynogen 1.4 build boot and I installed an SPL to use Modaco Hero ROM

This is what happened.

Installed SPL, had me reboot, brought me back to boot screen. Under cynogen 1.4 build it said formatting cache for like an hour, so I just reboot.

The T Mobile G1 screen came up, then my phone restarted and the T Mobile G1 screen came back on and then it takes me back to the recovery menu. Ive tried to fastboot, ive tried a backup, ive tried to wipe. Nothing works at all. It just keeps going back to the recovery menu. Any suggestions please!!!!!!

OTA-radio 2_22_19_261

When I open the camera and power button menu, it gives me an option for fastboot, restart, power off and back. Tried all of those options too. Also says that there is no .img on sdcard.

have you tried putting an update.zip on your sd and flashing it?

Only access I have to my sdcard is having it in my G1 and syncing it with my computer. I dont have anything else that could read it.
If I found something to get access to it though, which update would i boot to it? Could i just delete the signed-spl.zip in my sdcards root then try rebooting my device?

I dont think so. Right now you have the SPL but nothing to boot into if I understand things (im no expert) but you need to have an sd card with an update.zip (I dont think it matters but I am a fan of cyan's roms) so you can flash that from recovery. I have a keychain usb micro sd reader that I suggest everyone get or something similiar.

What I'm reading is right . Find a way to put an update (rom) on you sd . A card reader , another phone . Buy a cheap card reader for $5-10 . You don't have a rom on your phone now , so it can't boot up .

Okay well, I found a camera that my card will fit in. When it plug it into my computer though nothing shows up. I have a MAC.

Okay

Bought SD card reader. put in SD card, deleted signed-spl.update and put in JACXHERO 1.1 update, renamed update.zip tried to flash it and it says E:cant open /sdcard/update.zip (bad) Installation aborted.

What now?!?!?!?!
