G1 Problem

I've been having a really bad problem with my g1. My phone will randomly switch off. I'm running cyanogen 3.9 (i think?) My problem is that It will just randomly cut power, it is not a battery issue and if my phone doesn't switch off before it's done loading and i switch on the battery refresh application, it doesn't switch off for some reason!?!? It doesn't cut power when I'm in the recovery console (cyanogen 1.4)... Idk what I should do I have reflashed but it did nothing for me... sooo any help would be appreciated!
