Android apps in stores other than Android?

Can anyone tell me if I can sell/post/upload and likewise download/purchase android apps from other market places than Android itself? eg getjar or any provider app store?!?! and how about the pricing strategy then??

You might try http://slideme.org (recently renamed to http://mobentoo.com/). Seems to be one of the more established (though still small) non-Google markets. I just posted my first app there over the weekend (http://www.appventive.com/executive-assistant). Will likely post my other apps over the next few days.

I bought my first app (Touchdown from Nitrodesk) directly from the vendor without going through the market. So, yes, you can do it, and you can charge whatever you think your customers will pay.
