Anyone in the UK using an app that gives access to betfair on the Android?
I don't think there's an official app, well not one I could see.
I came across this one:
http://code.google.com/p/betonthemove/wiki/UserGuide
but don't know if anyone's tried it or not before I give it a whirl?

Only that one. It seems to work ok, although I must admit I've hardly used it.
More on the same app here:

Hi Guys,
I have just released a new android app which allows you to quickly view the current market prices on betfair.
It's still work in progress, I hope to add graphing and the ability to bet from the app very soon.
More info here:

Let me know what features would be most wanted.

I found Betfair do have an app available free of charge from the android marketplace.
I d/l for my nexus and was really impressed.
I can access my account, view open markets and watch the prices live and I can Back/Lay bets in real time.
I can also view my bet history.
The app was simple to use and I placed my first bet inside of a minute of log in.
Vast improvent on previous homebrew apps, nice one BetFair.

For an Android app for Betfair try http://www.betacular.co.uk/. I've used their app and it seems to be very professional, stable, and pretty cool.

I've been wanting to download the Betfair app for the past couple of months but I haven't been able to locate it in the Android Market. Initally I though it must have been withdrawn for maintenance but when it didn't return I did a little more investigation.
It turns out Google have changed their content policy regarding real money gambling apps and the Betair apps was removed. Betair have a web app that I was using but the Native app is much better. There isn't much info on installing Non Market apps on the Betfair website but I found this article Installing Betfair's Native Android App (http://www.androidbettingapps.com/4/post/2011/05/how-to-download-install-betfairs-native-android-app.html) which was useful.
Because it's a non market app you will need to change a couple of setting on your droid.

Re: Betfair not being in the market any more - Blue Square now have a top quality betting app that does football coupons as well and is in the
Android market, I use it all the time and its mint - I found it here http://118-bet.co.uk/Top-Android-Betting-Apps-Directory.php Although this page only rates it as #2 I also use the Bet24 poker one thats #3 too, got a big free play to start me off! (Still ended up losing it all)
