Hey guys, I just join AC!! :D I was wondering will rooting my mytouch will allow me to use any data plan on tmobile? I have a smartphone unlimited data plan wit my xperia x1 n my mytouch doesnt work with it.

no rooting doesnt give you access to data plans your currently not signed up for

I have a unlimited smartphone data plan for tmobile, but my mytouch wont work with it, will rooting allow it to work like how unlocking a phone lets me use it with any provider?

get an unlimited plan for the mytouch , its $25 a month , 3g .
