No facebook app for the g1 ???

I just bought a g1 and I noticed there Is no facebook app availiable. Is there one and I can't find it ?

try checking the top 10 - 20 applications on the market. There are various facebook applications if you look.

serach facebook in the market it is there.... or there are many unofficial facebook apps IE Bloo, Babbler...etc

there is an official facebook app, as well as a few 3rd party apps

but they are all crap. just create a shortcut that goes to http://www.facebook.com/home.php

the home.php prevents it from re-routing to touch.facebook.com - unless you prefer the touch version

The best "G1" browser applicable version is this link from the browser:

http://touch.facebook.com

It supports more features than the current official facebook app on the Android Market. I'm assuming this will be the case until a next major release of the app.

bloo is the best.

the dev has neglected updates for a while due to personal stuff but a 1.4 update will be coming soon and will make the purchase worth it :)

Bloo and babbler doesn't show up in the search for some reason. The reason why I don't want to use the the full or mobile site is because when I go to update my status it puts it in the google search for some reason and the updates are hours behind

my problem with bloo and the others is that it skips updates. if you compare the updates you see on bloo to the updates you see on the web page you will see that you are missing alot of notifications

I recommend Bloo or Babbler. I have them both and I really can't decide which I like more.
