For whoever has the money to spend and is a fan of the N900 it looks like you have a chance to pre-order from Dell.com for a nice chunk of change, I know its mameo but chances are you are gonna be able to dual-boot
here's the link: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Wireless_Phones_Requiring_Activation/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&cs=19&sku=A3076016
anyone gonna jump on this?

Link doesn't work already. I plan on getting a N900. Not because I'm a droid hater, I love android but, Maemo looks even more promising. Never considered the possibility of dual boot... That would be really nice. There are some Android things I would miss so being able to dual boot could be interesting.

Dual-booting is NOT a realistic possibility. But I won't miss Android/Google much anyway.

Those who order the N900 come back and give us an honest review. And if you're not liking it maybe you would think of selling it to me for a good price. :)

Hey guys I've been looking at Internet Tablets, PMPs, and MIDs, and they're all pretty interesting but it came down to it's ability to continue growing. So I'm looking at the Nokia n900 I've seen it play an NES emu via wii remote and tv outlet plugs which was amazing!
And I herd it will be able to play doom3.
What's you're advice? It's going on Amazon for about 480 currently.

i sure hope an internet tablet can do all that. i mean... if the only thing it does it go on the internet... then what more is it than an enlarged version of android phones without the calling fuctionality>?
besides... there are guys workin on emulators for android phones anyways.
