Is there anything to these rumors? I was worried the android onscreen kb wouldn't live up to my iphone, but I actually like it a LOT better after messing around with my wife's droid ... I really want something 10mm thin with no keyboard. Please please please please....

There was one rumor i have heard, of a droid tablet, but nothing concrete and nothing announced.

I'd be so much happier with a thinner Droid and no physical keyboard.

I'm telling you, if the Zii Egg, could make phone calls... android life = bliss

To me the Droid is so thin already that having the hardware keyboard is just a bonus. I like the on screen keyboard a lot, so even if I rarely use the hardware keyboard it's great to know it's there and ready for action if necessary.

I liked HW keyboard where SW keyboard is not bad either.
However, I did not like Dorid's smoothness! Android OS does not seem to be smooth when starting apps and when sliding through the screens...
I do not like only three screen slide where SenseUI has 7 I believe...

For now, I am looking at HTC Hero as leader in Android world...

Perhaps the upcoming Sony Ericcson Xperia X10?

It's supposed to be .5 thick, has a 4" screen, and 1GHz Qualcomm processor!

Also has a new interface designed by Sony....

Looks sweeeeeet!

If the SE phone comes out on a US carrier its going to be my next phone but I haven't heard any news about it so far.

You'd think SOME carrier would pick this puppy up!

Man.. it really looks sweet, and I'm in the "don't need a physical keyboard" camp....

I've written the x10 off, personally... Not even Europe will see it until 2q10, and it doesn't even have a magnetometer. The version that passed through the FCC can't do 3g on any US carriers. The phone is vapor. The acer is the only thing that really seems viable, and it looks like it might follow a similar europe-first path like the hero did. It's depressing, really.... I may end up getting the moment to complement my wife's droid, but I'm going to give the htc dragon a chance to come out this year...
