okay, i originally had some friends in my phonebook and whenever i signed onto facebook from my droid.. it downloaded their facebook info. which is cool i have no problem with that. but i have a few 'duplicates'. i would like to know how to merge the facebook info with the phone numbers i have?

in other words, i have my original contact entry, and a facebook entery.
i cant seem to edit the facebook entry, and i also cant seem to link my original contact entry with their facebook account (to store their number and their facebook info in one contact)

i understand some people dont publish their number on their facebook, which is why i want to know if it was possible to merge the phone numbers that i have, along with their facebook picture/information.

i hope my post makes sense.
thanks

I'm with you mpmusic. I've tried using the "join" feature in contacts, but it isn't working.

I don't know about the Droid, but I did what mtdoerr suggested - there's a "join" feature in Contacts on my Cliq that works great. Open one contact, hit your menu key, then choose "join" and search for the other contact. But I don't know if it's an Android or Motoblur feature.

Try Komodo Contact Manager. I built it for this reason. To merge my facebook contact data into my phone contact data!
