ONLY 47 MB internal memory left After upgrade to Cyan 4.2.3.1, help pls

Could anyone please answer me this?

Anyway, I exactly follow the cyan wiki (http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php/Full_Update_Guide_-_G1/Dream_Firmware_to_CyanogenMod) to root from stock 1.5 and then upgrade to this cyan rom 4.2.3.1 .
Everything went smoothly, the new mod is fast. HOWEVER:

After upgrading: My internal memory only has 47MB although I havent installed any apps yet http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/frown.gif. anyone knows why? How can I free it back to >70MB?

Any help appreciated

Your apps install to your sd card on cyans, so it doesnt really matter what your internal memory is.

thats only if your sdcard is partitioned .
that space is being taken up by app data and phone data . if you wipe , you should clear some of it . but as you use the phone , it will come back .

I fixed it.
Initially I havent partitioned my sd card, internal mem: 47MB
After wiping it, no change still 47MB
Then, I partitioned to create ext2, now it back to 70MB internal mem.
But it's good that I have back 70MB.
Have no idea why. If u know, tell me. THx

Before I wipe the phone, I saw an apps on the ROM that similar to the Market app and can browse apps on the market and purchase them. It has blue background. After wiping, it's gone. Anyone know where can I find it and what is the name? thx

Moreover, how to enable a pinch zooming on G map, and pix sliding gesture on photo? I'm new to this stuff.
