Help! Phone restarts and/or freezes when I have no reception

Sorry if this issue has already been addressed... I did a search for it but didn't come up with anything.

So I've recently just installed Eugene's hero rom (Supermagicv2r1) on MT3G via Amon's recovery v1.2.3 with the engineering SPL 1.33.2010 and everything works great however when I pass through or enter a place with no reception my phone either restarts itself or freezes and I have to take out the battery to get it going again. The phone will work again only when I go to a place with constant reception.

Also, this also happened when I was on the engineering SPL 1.33.2005 with multiple roms (Qteks v1.7, Maxismas2.0, and jacheroski's2.2b)

Has anyone else had this problem? Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance!

try cyanogens rom instead of a hero rom . its a lot more stable than any hero rom . if you want stability that is .

I've actually already tried Amon's donut rom and cyanogen's rom all on the 1.33.2005 SPL and it still resets and/or freezes when I have no reception. Is this a known issue with MT3G itself?

I've never tried to see if it has that problem on the stock build. It's just annoying when I hit an area with no reception briefly my phone will restart itself.
