After hearing that Android's new gmail integration sends all your phone contacts to gmail I got to wondering what other phone info is being sent to Google.
Given the open nature of this platform it seems possible to detect the packets that are sent and received in order to definitively answer this question. Has this been done and made public?
p.s. I'm a fan of Android but still believe in making judicial decisions about privacy and I think people should be aware of when they are making such a decision.
