Pre first weekend sales is only 60k, since when 100k is less than 60k?

This is a phone that's going to win people over in the long-run, I think. If not this phone, then Android, in general.

I bought mine on Sunday, after sleeping on it a night after playing with one in-store on Saturday. For me, it was worth paying full-retail for.

Everyone I've shown it to has been blown away. My girlfriend watched as I was browsing the web, took a call, looked up some info, and emailed a link to my caller. No pauses, stutters, or weird errors that I used to get with WinMobile.

Not to mention the amazing display that puts anything Apple has to shame.

Considering how tight people still are with their money right now, I think those are fairly respectable numbers. Did everyone hope for more? I'm sure, yes.
It's nice to see the numbers, but frankly, I don't really care how anyone else likes the phone...I'm loving mine. The 2 main reasons I haven't gone the iPhone route is: 1. AT&T and 2. Everyone has one already
I am not taking anything away from the iPhone, as far as what it's done to the mobile world, or whether it's a good phone or not. It definitely turned the mobile world on its head, and it just simply works for the most part.
I like Android, and I really like my Droid.

I am so elated and excited about my phone. Ive waited soooo long for Verizon to have a worthy competitor to the iphone! I think this phone just rocks, completely destroying the iphone in my humble opinion. If Verizon had the iphone tommorow, I would stick with the moto droid!

I was able to dump my iPhone, even all my iTunes playlist gets imported using doubletwist

That was the customer number. And again, this was 100k for the weekend, while pre sales were 75K for the WEEK.

Doesnt seem like abad number to me.
