Currency converter for Android

Hi everyone,

Currency converter for Android is simple currency converter (or exchange rates calculator). It is focused on ease of use as well as offline usage. Online update is provided via European central bank, or you can manually add any kind of currency. World's widely used currencies have own flag build-in. Currency conversion is automatic "convert as you write" style. All currencies in list have their exchange rate initially set against EUR, but you can easily change that to your preferred one. From all of currencies you can save your favorites and load them anytime you choose to.

Ok, since last friday (13th) currency converter for Android is available in market. Search for "currency converter" developer halmi.sk (Rudolf Halmi), icon http://halmi.sk/pictures/ccalc_icon_64_3.png

Update to 1.1.0 was just submitted to Market.

It contains new Options screen where you can choose update source (if you choose additional rates in options, 18 more currencies are update-able [mtl, ars, bnd, clp, cop, ils, isk, irr, kzt, lkr, lyd, omr, pkr, qar, sar, ttd, twd, vef])

So after update of application, just hop in to Options and choose additional rates. Afterwards just run update from currencies list view.

If you have some of above currencies set as "custom", please uncheck it's "custom" status in currency's edit view, so it can be properly updated.

Checks for network problems during update

When I saw my forex friends yesterday, I saw that she was using the same Currency converter for Android. I ask her why she used this converter and she told me that android was simply great. The simple yet useful application like converting one currency into another or trading in the Forex markets.

in 1.1.0 there is a Calculator build-in. No more counting on your fingers when you want to convert 4 currencies at once. :D
