Blown away by the Droid

Hello,

I am new here so excuse the noobish future posts haha. Anyways, I am coming in from AT&T using the 3Gs (jailbroken of course) and this phone is basically on steroids. The amount of customization on android is simply mind boggling. I like everything about the phone more than my iPhone, which absolutely shocked me. The most evident improvement from my switch has been the Verizon network. Its indescribable how much better it is than AT&T. Places I have never dreamed of having coverage in with AT&T... full bars of 3G with my new service.

My first question would be - is that new snapdragon droid coming out soon from HTC? Should I have waited for that or is that not going to be "all that"?

The droid has enough processing power, I wouldn't worry about it I'd worry about the quality of apps being made and published for the phone.

I cant find a fully functional Facebook app yet... Bloo or whatever couldnt send messages on my droid :(

It's still in development and the developing tools are still being discovered, a lot new updates will say.
x.xx updates for cliq/moment/droid support.

It'll get there, but Android typically doesn't get well developed apps from lame space and head book.

Is there a place that lists some "must have" apps? So far I have found pretty much everything my iPhone had that I used :)
