Yup the title says it all. I like my droid, but there are a couple of little thorns I am not settled with yet.

Every phone will have those thorns. That is how they get you to keep getting new ones.

On my palm there was a number that told you how many characters you have entered so you don't run over your 160. Now I have no idea what I am up to and have gotten a couple of texts back from verizon that says that if I want more, I have to use a media text message. Which brings up a point, could Droid have switched it automatically for me if it sees that it has run over? Devs... Make it so.

Handcent SMS (NEW) is an SMS app that has a text counter in it.

chomp also does this...it also has a counter that will keep track of how many texts you have sent (in case you have limited messaging)
