For some reason, each of the past two days, my Droid has stopped making any noise or vibrating when I get a notification. I havent changed any settings. I am only able to fix it by doing a battery pull. It will also correct itself after I make a phone call. Does anyone have any ideas?

I've had this problem too. Randomly it will stop either vibrating, playing a sound, or both. No amount of setting changes fix it. If I let it go it eventually starts working normally again an hour or two later. Of course, if I pull the batt it starts working right away again. No idea why. Hopefully that rumored Dec. 11th update will fix it, amongst other things...

I've had what might be a related problem...

Earlier today the volume on my droid got stuck on a very low level, even though it displayed as being maxes out. As a result I missed a few notifications.

The only way I got it working right again was power cycling the phone. Does anyone know where the best place to be reporting bugs is?

We treat cell phones too importantly, they do need to reboot every now and then, shut down and restart ya know.

lol i work on all kinds of phones. one of the most common things that i see is an iphone that some jerkoff tried to jailbreak and messed up. and it is as easy as plugging it into itunes to restart the device and they are to stupid to figure it out and the rush to the store and freak out and the tip because they are so happy that they can use all their apps again and i show them wireless tethering which i use when i am there and they drop their head and walk away:D
