ChompSMS has gone [Archive]

Hi guys, I just noticed ChompSMS is no longer on my phone, I was using it up until yesterday afternoon, now it's no longer there and I've searched the market and nothing appears. I never got any notifications for any received SMS's since yesterday as I had default messaging notifications turned off and used ChompSMS

how can an app uninstall itself from my phone?
can anyone else not see it in the market?

It's still on my Magic (v1.6) & it was the first hit on Market when searching 'chomp'. Seems all good.

Did you install Maps with Google Navigation by chance? I know that if you do that some protected apps don't show up in the Market.

still on my phone as well. And I just did a factory reset today and reinstalled from market
