View Full Version : How to update the Firmware with an Unlocked phone?

I just got the My Touch (T-Mobile Version) and it is Unlocked and I am using it in the AT&T network. It currently has 1.5. How do I get updates to the Firmware. Can I just use the Systems Update on the phone? Would that even work since it would be T-Mobile pushing those out to the phone and I am not on their network? Or... do I have to manual update through the PC and If so, how and where to I get the firmware?

Do a search in this forum for the upgrade you want. You will find a link, download and install. TMo is not going to send you an OTA update if you are on ATT.
