So I've got CM 4.2.4 and absolutely love it. I downloaded the optional audio file so that I have multiple different ringtones. I've noticed that there is not a way to use a song in your Music App as a ringtone as was the case with the regular 1.6. Any idea if CM is working on this or if there's a way to do it?
Download the rings extended app in the market.

All your ringtone need to be are mp3. Here is a sight with all kinds of songs. I use these as ringtones and I know they work, no app needed.

I know about the mp3 thing. I got it fixed with the Rings Extended app!
I didn't know it was even possible without the app.

What, that you could use mp3's for ringtones. The site I linked above has lots of mp3 ringtones. Just make a ringtone folder within the media folder.
