Migrating Apps from G1 to Cliq

Is this possible, tried looking for another thread but couldn't find any, maybe I am just not typing good keyword combinations.

Anyway, has anybody upgraded from a G1 to a Cliq? Is it possible to transfer the apps from my G1 to my new Cliq? Can't really find any information about it online.

your paid apps are saved to your google login.

anything else just download Astro from the market.

when it installs, open it.

menu>tools>Application Manger/Backup

than just selected all and back up, it will save to your SD card.

on the cliq, download Astro again, do the same thing except this time click the backed up apps tab and install 1 by 1. its a pain but it works
