To me that app is bs, this (http://android.a0soft.com/?url=aNetShare.htm) is better.

Any benefits to this one over the one I have? Might have to give it a try.
While we're on the subject of tethering, anything special you have to
do to get usb tethering to work?

good question, i havent tried it usb, and im dloading this app now,lets see what the diff is... nice find

The best way to tether if you are on hero or cyan is simply plugging in the usb and checking the box in wireless settings. The benefit of this app is it tethers your 3g or whatever wireless. I have had as many as 4 things connected using this with no problems and they all was fast but using this uses power. Another reason why I use this is just to have options lol, I tether using usb, this app and through terminal. USB uses the lowest amount of energy and is the best for tethering one thing. This app is good because it tethers whatever wireless and you have control over their access. The terminal tether, tethers anything without prejudice but uses the most amount of power.

i cant get the usb tether to work for me .....wireless tether used to work perfect for me now nothing =[

Anything special you need to do to get this running???
I installed the program and let it download the tethering package but
when I hit the "start wifi ap" It just says please wait for a sec. then is
grayed out. What did I miss?

I posted about almost same thing when I did it. But it says something bout the kernal whatever that means. It just dosn't start to tether. Any help would be great thanks.
