So, will the new Android 2.0 OS open up the Bluetooth API enough to allow someone to write a BT-handset-activated Voice Dialer App of some sort?
The current so-called Voice Dialer is really inconvenient in that it absolutely will not allow you to use BTto dial a phone number in a truly hands-free way. My old Motorola KRZR K1m did this very well, and it's the one thing that my new Droid won't do that I really wish it would do. Seems like such an advanced piece of hardware should be able to do it, or be able to handle an app that will do it for you.
So any word on a true hands-free voice-dial app for Android 2.0 yet? (Or anyone got any tips on writing one myself, if the 2.0 SDK has the API's to do it?)
