Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Here's the problem/question of the night. 10 points and the win if you can come up with the answer! So I installed 4.2.5 and already had Facebook for Android (a free app from the Market) installed when running 4.2.4. After the upgrade, I got the generic app icon and clicked it and it said that Facebook for Android was no longer installed on my phone. I go into the Market to re-download it and it pops up the information, but the bottom where it should say "download" is grayed out and says "open" and "uninstall". I can't click on either to uninstall it. I go into Settings->Applications->Manage Applications and Facebook for Android does not appear, thus preventing me from uninstalling it. How could I go about uninstalling Facebook for Android so that I might reinstall it? I've cleared the cache for Market in the Manage Applications page. Remember, 10 points and the win!!!

when this happens i either download backup for root users and backing everything but the market data up, then i wipe data factory reset in recovery(red+home while booting but i asume you know that since your on Cyanogen) then reboot your phone, you'll have to re-sign in but when your done go download backup for root again and restore everything
you can also download the facebook.apk and manually push it to the phone
goodluck

Which backup program do you recommend? I'm looking for a free one, cause I'm cheap!

Odd... I wiped my cache and data. All apps stayed for some reason, and Facebook returned... I'm confused, but oh well! No more help necessary. Beatle7777777 gets 10 points and the win!
