http adaptive streaming

can anyone tell me if ANdroid supports http live streaming and or Adaptive HTTP streaming similar to the Iphone ?

What do you mean by that? I can guide you if you want to play mp3 streams, maybe we can figure out some other formats, but be more descriptive.
