G1 vs. MT3G

Just wanting to know if anyone knows if the MT3G runs a little smoother then the G1 does

I don't have a G1, but, the mt3g specs are better then the G1.

YES! The mytouch 3g runs MUCH smoother. I'm guessing it has to do with the percentage of free space available. On my G1, I needed to make sure I had about 40mbs free for it to run smooth. Since the G1 only had 75 (appox) mb to use, it was tough to keep that much available. The mytouch has 295 available (approx) and therefore I dont have any problems in keeping free memory.

I assume this is the reason for the MUCH smoother experience, but I could be wrong. Makes sense though, since thats the only difference in the phones.

also....I'M TALKING ABOUT NON ROOTED PHONES. I'm sure I'll get at least one guy talking smack because I didn't root :)
