firmware version1.6 can't restore contacts database from firmware1.5 after update, can u help me?
how to convert contacts.db(version1.5) to contacts.tar(version1.6)...

A tar file is an archive, like a zip file. Check the market for a tar app, or if you're running a mod with busybox you can drop to terminal and "tar contacts.db" to create contacts.tar -- not sure it'll really work, but it's worth a shot.

Why aren't you just syncing contacts with the cloud?
