There is a new update for the hero is you go to setting then about phone then update, then firmware update. Im downloading it right now.

No if you are rooted you don't get this update as far as I know.

Sorry I am a noob in HTC Hacking scene and want to know how can i update to a new version that does NOT freeze and is bug-free and get ROOT without the risk of BRICK my phone. Also my phone is HTC Hero (no brands , normal version) and tell me please guides for those things that I want.
