The Mytouch is just an update of the g1... plus with the droid you get 2.0 NOW instead of having to wait.

Yes verizon has an unlimited plan... unlimited min. is $99.99 unlim min and text $119.99

i want the droid pretty bad. but theres no way id switch to verizon

My Verizon service has been great. I don't have the droid though, I have the droid Eris and love it. Depending where you live Verizon service is excellent.
