Cliq or Mytouch...whats better

Im in the market for a new Android phone and wanted to get some feedback from the android community. Should I go with Mytouch or Cliq? What are the pros and cons on each handset (hardware n software)?

Buy a g1, and with the money you'll save buy a high class SD card and you can pretty much have both.

Well I said they hell with both and got me the HTC DROID ERIS...bought it online so im waiting for it to get home...excited

Hubby got the Cliq last week, and I wouldnt take that thing over my G1 for a million dollars.

Ok, well, I could sit on a million dollars for a while til something awesome comes out, but still..... like my G1 much better than the Cliq. Can't help ya on the Droid though, sorry.

even the droid doesnt look that great. sure its totally awesome with its totally awesomeness... but its still not great. it runs awesome (as we will be soon)... but as for looks... very g1-ish. 4 button, slide out keyboard.

just remember... theres a reason the g1 is still the developers phone.

The G1 was to bulky for me and i dont mind the VK so i got the mytouch. It depends on what you want.

Definitely personal preference, indeed. I don't mind the bulk of the G1, and hubby does.... but when I am actually talking on the Cliq, your finger is sitting in a groove of the plastic, and it feels like you are going to snap something off - I have a hard case on my G1 with a seam in the same place, and it is still tons more comfortable in my hand during a conversation.

Personal preference - I bet no other Cliq owners have the same thought on the hardware that I do.

It also feels more laggy to me than my phone - probably all that Motoblur stuff in my opinion. Info overload! ;)
