I was wondering if anyone else was having the problem I am...
When I click on some threads, not all, I get sent back to the forum index instead of that thread...
It happens most when trying to view threads in the 'new posts' or 'recently replied' lists of threads at the top of the forum index... but again, it happens in other places too.
I am posting this from my G1, so posting work... if I can even get to the thread I'm wanting to reply to, that is...

Exact same thing happens to me, it was working last night, but now does not let me actually enter a thread.

Yep, it gets pretty annoying that this happens often. For some reason, only on this forum. I haven't had this problem on the other forums I use.

^If you're losing faith, don't venture into the "my complaints" thread.

lol... In no way has this made me "lose faith" in the phone. I'm upgrading from a crapper, so this phone still blows me away... I'm still madly in love (after only about 13 hrs of play)

I figured out the problem, at least on my end. If you are on wifi it does this, but if you turn off wifi and use edge, you will be able to browze no problem. let me know if this works for use guyz

Happened to me here in Chicago. Some links to threads would work, but the vast majority (90% of the time) it did the same as everyone else. I tried it on 3g and on wifi, but not edge.

So far it's only happened to me when I'm using Wi-Fi. I'll try it out with the 3G.

Yeah, it must only be on Wi-Fi where we encounter that problem.

seems to be just wi-fi here too... but now, its saying "page not found" on wi-fi, almost every one.

I'm with these guys... wifi here at the house and although it usually works well, it comes and goes. Usually a second attempt goes through fine but I have to agree.... it's a nuisance... almost enough to make me get off my rump and go to the other end of the house where the Linux PC is and post from it...

@secrecyguy: are you using any WEP or WPA on your WiFi , or is it wide open like a hotspot?

In regards to the OP I never have that problem myself. I think though that a mobile css would be a good thing to include on the site. Something made to be used by the G1.
