Hey Guys,
I wanted to start an organized thread to review certain Android applications. I want to keep discussion on applications to a minimum here, this is simply to look over the list as new applications come out. If I am missing any certain application please add it yourself (try to stay with the format I am using).
Name: Yellowbook
Yellowbook is an Android application that allows you to easily search the United States Yellow Pages easily and effectively. I have to say this is a program I was looking for right away. I had a bookmark on my front page to Yellowpages.com but now with this application - its clean and easy to use.
You can use the GPS system to search from your location - or it can use an intuitive recommendation engine to auto-fill in what city you begin typing.
After looking up a listing, you can easily Map it or call it with the press of a button!
What more can be said?

Name: AccuTracking
Seems like a really cool program - but it does have a monthly charge attached to it (go http://www.accutracking.com/ for more information) - would be cool and could be used in a variety of creative ways.
You can view an installation and instruction manual here: http://support.accutracking.com/docs/androidsetup.html
Phone can be tracked for speed, and more via Google Earth or Microsoft MapPoint.
I believe the price to be $5.99 a month.

Name: WikiMobile & WikiTap
(WikiMobile)
The Android Market offers two options for a Wikipedia interface. WikiTap and WikiMobile. WikiMobile was an option on the day of release for Android phones and has been extremely popular.
What's cooler then being able to search for in-depth information that is constantly updated on pretty much any topic imaginable?
From my knowledge, the new application on the market, WikiTap takes from the Wikipedia database (which is the largest and most popular) so it should prove to be better then WikiMobile in many areas.

Name: Twilight
When I first read this applications description I thought it may be a waste of space. Yet it is a pretty cool application! You basically add in locations of interest to you and it will map the time in that location as well as when the sunrise/sunset will occur! Very cool for people such as me that have lived in a few different areas.

Name: NoiseAlert
I found this application while searching the web for "non-market apps" this program will allow you to set a noise level that, if exceeded, will call a number specified.
This could be cool in a variety of ways - but seems pretty useless overall... it has been recommended to use as a travel baby monitor, which could be cool - or perhaps hide it somewhere to make sure the kids aren't throwing that big party... hmmm a $200 party control monitor... lol

Name: aDialCode
Warning: I have not yet tested this application - will update when I have.
This helps you to find area codes of specific areas and gives you the correct code to dial a certain state/country from your location.
Could be cool!

Name: SA Tip Calculator
Brand new to the Android Market - I am excited about this one. I have been seeing quite a few tip calculators and haven't downloaded any as I have not been very satisfied with them. However, this one is very simple and basic... the problem? Well it would be nice to have a tip calculator where I can input the price on the receipt for each person and it calculate different numbers for each person...

Name: TooDo
An advanced ToDo List that 2-way integrates with your RememberTheMilk account! Very cool for the organized patron that wants to organize advanced to-do lists.
This is the first todo list that is worth the money - but the initial screen can be kind of confusing and the application seems kind of cluttered - I am uninstalling it but it could be cool for some.
Name: gEZ Tip
Very similar to SA Tip Calculator - I prefer the SA Tip Calculator - much cleaner.
