Anyone else having trouble accessing the market?

twice today i had issues with the market.. i just turned off the device and then turned it back on.

I can get to the market, but when i choose to download an app, it just says "Starting Download". Restart didn't seem to help. Started seeing this late this afternoon.

Edit: Restarting the downloads a few times seems to have worked eventually...

I started having problems after lunch EST. Still unable to access the market. 2 hours so far.

BTW, I am in the Orlando area. Maybe its a region issue?

Ok, so what I got from the T-mobile store is this. They say it's a known issue with the G1, and told me to call T-mobile to have them take off my data plan and add it back on. Supposedly that fixes the problem. The representative I talked to on the phone with, didn't want to do that, and instead filed a work-ticket for me. I'm supposed to get a call within a week to have it resolved! Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The weird thing is that I can access my email just fine, I just can't access the market and the internet. This almost defeats the whole purpose of the phone!

I got my G1 today I am having the same trouble now (keeps saying starts download but never actually installs anything) and wondering if you guys ever got yours fixed and how? Please help! I need my Apps! Thanks much!
