    Bloo > Babbler

    true story

    look for review.

might do review on babbler also to compare the two.

This will be the first app I'm actually paying for, setting everything up right now. Seems like a hassle.

really? why does google take the 30% for each app sale?

thats facebooks fault not the devs. facebook has to allow all the permisions and crap and still gives limited functionality.... the fact that this guy was able to pull off so much is still amazing...

i like the app alot but its still missing some basic functionality. i wanted to send one of my friends a pm and couldnt figure out how. also when you log in it should display your new notifications right on the top. im still kepping it because i like the direction he is heading... but im still going to have to use this app with a combination of m.facebook.com...

I agree, I've been using m.facebook.com for so long now I'm so used to everything there. I'm gonna give the app some time until I decide if I actually like it. Did the developer say anything about integrating chat into this application? That would be amazing.

    they don't.

    http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/200...rket-fees.html

    From the article:
except that 30% of the revenue will go to carriers. "Developers will get 70% of the revenue from each purchase; the remaining amount goes to carriers and billing settlement fees — Google does not take a percentage. We believe this revenue model creates a fair and positive experience for users, developers, and carriers," notes Eric Chu.
