Author is fast to respond if you email him. I had an issue of getting an error earlier when I clicked on the nofications tab. Within 45minutes there was another release on the market.
What I didn't like about babbler is when I commented it took forever for the comment to actually show up. Bloo its nearly instant for me.
I don't care for the notifications anyways so I'm rather in hog heaven since I get them via email anyways.
Babbler has been out for months and Bloo well has been out less than a day so I'm willing to cut the guy some slack and hes already put out one bug fix release in the first day so that says a lot to me.
Just bought both apps, gonna take my 24 hours to decide which ones better. Saw some screens of both apps, babbler looks better to me. We'll see...
EDIT: Babble's interface is so much better then bloo's IMO. Plus inbox support, gotta say Babbler is better.

Hi!
Thank You for all kind words and suggestions!
All we can say from Babbler's side - we're really listening to all Your comments, and working hard on new functions and some better UI design.
Some people sent me emails saying they're concerned that because Babbler lost BETA status it will not be developed. That is completely untrue!
First, we know that there are some small bugs in the app, and we're working very hard to track down and eliminate.
Second, there's so much more to do:
- better notifications (I know that right now that's very limited)
- creating events and linking them with your calendar
- tagging photos ! this was left out of the first release for lack of time, but will definitely be included in 1.1
- more integration with Android - see how you can click on "View on Youtube" right now and launch the Android Youtube app ? Well, why not do the same with maps? MP3? Flash (once it's released on Android)? That's all coming!
- uploading of many pictures at once to a new album
- and of course the UI could never get enough love, so we're working on the Android standard dialog boxes to fit in with the rest of the app
That's just some of our top priorities for the next weeks.
Please feel free to write everything that bothers you - here (we'll be reading), or on Babbler's Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/ap...1449033&ref=nf

Maciek, I think that is fantastic that you guys are continuing to develop Babbler and listen to what the community says. That is the sign of a good developer.

After all the hard work that DC has put into bloo and his ongoing updates and work on this app.. I feel in time bloo will be even better than it is now and blow all others out of the water. Only time will tell, cant wait to see what other things he comes up with.

G1 rocks... can only get better
I refunded Bloo. As cute the UI is, i need functionality over looks. Blabber it is for me TODAY, and its nice to know the Blabber devs are listening and im sure with Bloo out it will make them push their app harder, same goes with Bloo, competition is always good for usI will keep a very close eye on Bloo to see further developments.

There's no question Babble is a little more functional thanBloo at the moment... My biggest issue with Bloo at the moment is that it only shows you a VERY limited amount of the feed, walls, etc. It's only a few items. With a meager 114 friends, that only gets me a few minutes worth. Also, Bloo doesn't show the "app" results like "how well do you know..." and "which Disney character are you", etc. -which may be a blessing, but I don't like that Bloo is keeping stuff hidden that I can't control.
The other problem--and this one could be a deal-breaker--is that Bloo doesn't show all comments. Sometimes FB will truncate the list of comments in a feed, only showing the first and last. In FB, you click a little "show more comments" list and it expands them out. In Babble, you get all the comments. In Bloo, you only get 2, and it doesn't even inform you that there are more missing. That's a huge problem that I hope gets addressed soon.
That said, Bloo "feels" like FB to me, and from an interface perspective, it utterly destroys Babbler. All this competition is great for us end users, and I personally hope Bloo makes the right corrections and comes out on top, because it has less of a "web app" feel to it and feels like a more powerful, robust app. But for now, I'm keeping them both installed, because neither one is "there" yet.
