Call blocking app - someone PLEASE make one!

On my old, old Eten phone, there was an application that you could program numbers to block out. I sure hope this is developed for the G1...or does something like that already exist?

You'd have to check the Market Place here at AC. if it's not there then either it's included within Android OS already or it'll be handled via update, patch, or 3rd party app. If it doesn't already exist that is. I'll check up on it for you.

I believe the users manual lets you send certain numbers straight to voicemail. That is a start at least.

i was under the impression that unless you called your phone carrier. phone numbers couldn't be blocked in no other way.

What I have been unable to do is block private/blocked calls... Even with Family Allowance on T-mobile I cant do that.

I am interested in this kind of app too, will probably get me off Family Allowance anyways.

the G1 does allow you to send certain numbers straight to voicemail, and i believe you punch *32 before you dial a number to unblock, *67 to block.. but i could be wrong.

I'm thinking it'd have to be a 3rd party application. I'm currently using one on my N95 that does this. It'd be nice if they create one to work with Android. http://www.webgate.bg/products/acm/
