Ok I'm trying to work back with support through chompsms but I figured I'd check here to see if anyone has encountered this. A lot of this is pasting from emails because I dont feel like retyping it all lol

I've changed all of my contacts to have the full area code and number and in the regular messaging app on the HTC dream, I can send and receive from them with no issues. When I launch chomp I can also see all the threads. For a couple of contacts however, If I try to respond through chomp, it truncates the 1+area code (IE: number = 15555251212, chomp tries to send to 5251212) and then when I look in my original messaging client it also shows the number without area code "name, <5251212>" where it used to show "name, <15555251212>". If I delete the thread I can then send again in the regular messaging client selecting the users full mobile phone number.

If I delete the thread and try sending form within chomp to start, it shows the full number in the drop down, but still only tries to send to the number without area code etc. This really only happens for two numbers of about 50 and I did at one time not have everyone's full number in so I'm wondering if there is something being statically stored somewhere *shrug* I've since rebooted the phone a few times with no luck.

It was suggested to remove and recreate the contacts that I was having a problem with but that didn't do anything.

For example, I have 49 contacts all with the same dialing prefix and area code, only 2 of them have the prefix and area code chopped off when I try to use chomp to send a message:

contact1 mobile <13335551212>
contact2 mobile <13335551213>
contact3 mobile <13335551214>
contacts4-49 moble <1333555xxxx>

contact 1 and 2 are the only 2 out of all of my contacts that chomp truncates the 1333 off of so test wont go through. I've removed, re-created, rebooted ... does ANYONE have any idea why this is happening for only 2 contacts?
