I agree. I really wish people would be a little more reserved with the whole rating system, if not, it just makes the system useless. If you are giving out bad rating because you didn't take the time to read the description in full then that's your fault. Not the developers. And while we are mentioning developers, Thanks to all those of you who have been working hard at these apps. Alot of us really appreciate your hardwork and keeping an open mind as we, the Android community and the G1 community grow. A little something for all you negative nancies to remember...Rome was not built in one day. Bugs in apps and mistakes in coding happen. Deal with it. These are growing pains that we must go through. Few months from now when our devices and apps are functioning accordingly, we will look at this and laugh....at least I will. See you guys around and Happy Turkey Day.

I got told by a friend that I need to chill out about the rating system, that it's just a couple people having fun. but I agree with the above: it undermines the entire point of the rating system. If all these things are good for is letting children say f*** without their parents finding out, then why have it? But then, my friend doesn't have a G1 and doesn't care. As long as it makes phone calls.

He's cool and all, but sometimes he gets on my nerves.

Yes, there was a lot of rude people in there. Not saying we should all kiss each others...bottoms-- but at least show a lil respect. The market should be monitored from useless and insulting/cussing comments.

Don't worry there will probably be a util for standard Os'...eventually...

hopefully the app store going paid will change a lot fo what were seeing come out. The last 2 weeks have been kind of exciting as far as usefulness of apps showing up. The only real thing I see holding the community back from some real explosion of growth is all of the people on the marketplace that only know how to cuss and insult developers for what they're creating. 1/3 reviews at least say eff this or something much worse..
