dxTop : The Android Home Alternative
Hi everyone!
I plan on releasing dxTop : The Android Home Alternative this weekend for $3.99 and I'm hoping to get support from developers to write widgets for it. I posted a how-to and a sample desktop widget that graphs memory usage. These is also a demo version available on the site to try it out and use to develop widgets.
Also, I want to make sure I can sell it. I've read the Apache 2.0 license and it looks like all I need to do is provide a link to the license. Is this correct?

I will buy it, especially if you get a large userbase of developers for widgets! I'd like a widget similar to http://widgets.yahoo.com/widgets/widescapeweather would also love a calendar that could be on the desktop, like rainlendar

Yes it will, but I'm really confused as to how something like this could be in the market, it seems to go against what I thought was capable in app development.

I downloaded the demo and it took me awhile to get used to the flow, but now that I understand how to get to the screen I want I'm kind of digging it. I can have a different home screen for different app types and if you can provide decent widget support I would actually pay for this. Keep up the good work...this could be something special. I would love to hear more about it
