    Default eBook Reader?

I asked this question before the G1 launched but now that it has launched anyone know of an ebook reader in the works? I've been looking in the market for something and haven't been too successful.

The only thing similar I've seen is the Areader in the App Market. It reads eBooks as text. Don't know if thats what yur looking for.

It's called aReader! Search in the market for it and it'll pop right up!

    Good luck.

Thanks for the reply guys. The comments people have made said that it doesn't really work. I'll wait a bit for a better version.

People aren't always right, I would try it for yourself.

you could also try fbreaderj, it's not on the market, but can be downloaded from
http://www.fbreader.org/FBReaderJ/ using the G1 browser. I was able to download it today. I set the location to \sdcard\ebooks in preferences, as that is where I placed my ebooks, and it was able to find them.

How is it working for you so far? Any lock ups or crashes of any kind?

I just downloaded it a few minutes ago and haven't really had time to play with it. Lots of options in the preferences. It caused a force close initially, but I may have been being impatient. I would like to try and get some documents that are beyond text only to see how it manages them. I had to convert some MSN ereader books using a converter. I would recommend being patient with it.

What file formats are supported at this point? Just the 3 listed, or are there more?
