On x.facebook.com, has anyone found that it is impossible to select a name from the autocomplete list when composing a message?
I start typing a recipient's name and it shows the handy little ajaxified list beneath -- but as soon as I touch someone's name, the list disappears the the name doesn't get put into the "to" field.
Browser problem? Facebook problem? Android problem?
yeah there are a few things on facebook that the G1 cant do.. like the messaging that is built into facebook you cant get to that bar at all to send people a message back..... I would assume that is an issue with Android not suporting Ajax but idk
Hmm... from the spinny thing and the partial page load it looks like it DOES support ajax -- plus, isn't the browser based on the same engine that the iphone uses? Seems like this should work... Anyway, I hope facebook and/or the android people know about it so someone can fix it...
It works for me... It places the name right in the To: field.

Divorcing Blackberry for Android....
Facebook won't be fixing anything if Android is the only one having issues. Facebook hates us.

I am having a similar problem, only I'm having it within the G1 Email App.
I will start typing a contact. It will autocomplete it. But then it won't send, saying that I need to enter a valid email address. But if I actually type out the same email (exactly as it appeared via autocomplete). It sends just fine.
Any ideas?
