    Question Fictionwise...soon?

Any word or rumors on when Fictionwise is going to release their app?

I'm dying here to read some books. Yes I read normal books, but I've been reading books on the palm and other PDAs since it was possible and have always had at least a few loaded up LOL. It will probably my most used app once I get it.

    Have you checked out ShortCovers?

You can go to their website and see what books they have available.

I'm currently reading a Stephen King book, Duma Key, which is a great book!

Not the cheapest alternative, but they DO have an Android app so you can download and read current books on your handset.

    Cool Re: Fictionwise...soon?

Thanks for the tip, it was like going from borders to an airport book store. But it is an option, so I can't complain too much I guess. I'll keep my eyes open for other alts.

Android has several ebook programs in the Market.
    N1 / CM 7 (nightly) / Clockwork (latest)
    G1 / CM 4.2.12.2 / RA 1.6.2

True, but but Ereader and Fictionwise are well established with a huge library. For me this was big, as I've been purchasing ebooks from them for almost 10 years. I was a bit worried that they would only work on the Nook and let the mobile app die.
