Is this site the official front-end to Google's "Android Market" or just a site for exchanging project info? Sometimes the tone is that Applications can be distributed from here, and in other posts the tone is more of a "Google announced X today about the Android Market".

I think this is just a 3rd party market not related to google's. But heck we don't care as long as it downloads to the phone!

Admins - I would suggest giving users the ability to comment on the different applicaitons through the Android Market. It's good to be able to discuss them here under "General Android Apps Discussions" but it would be helpful to read what other people have to say when you are browsing through the different apps.
