Default Get rid of Power Manager

I was messing around with different themes, when I noticed "Power Manager" was installed. I can't figure out how to uninstall it. I went to Manage Apps, but it just lets me clear data, NOT uninstall.

    Any suggestions??

If you have ATrackDog installed, press and choose uninstall from the options. Another method, is to go into Market, click my downloads, and find power manager on the list there and uninstall (if it says 'install' only that means you have an older version, upgrade first, then uninstall)

Go into the market and uninstall it from there, or install it again and then uninstall it .

    Merged the two duplicate threads.

    Good luck on the problem.

Tried aTrackDog, it said "Application uninstall not successful."
Went to the Market. It acted as if I didn't have it installed. I DIDN'T have it installed. I now have Linda File Manager too.

Is it possible that these are part of having certain themes installed??? They're not bad apps or anything, I just don't use or need them.

yep, you need to remove it via the terminal emulator once you open it up and su then just type
    rm /system/app/nameofapp.apk
and it should do it for you, I would first run a ls command on /system/app so you can see what the actual name is

Jdwme, if I just type in what you wrote in the emulator, that should do it?

That seems easy enough, but I don't know what the heck you're talking about running a ls command... I'm definitely a noob to this.

I'll try, and see what happens
